If you’re flying to New York City for the events, most likely you will fly into one of the following airports. Here is info on the easiest ways to get to the Buckingham Hotel from each airport. (If you’re going to the “What’s NEW…?” event or to the “Masteries Intro Intensive”, please note that 352 7th Ave is just one block south of Penn Station.)
1. Newark Liberty Airport, Newark, NJ. The fastest and easiest way to get to Manhattan from Newark is to take the Amtrak Train to New York Penn Station. Trains run every half hour during the day and every hour at night. Fares start at $28 and the trip takes about 22 minutes. If you are going directly to the Buckingham Hotel, here are detailed directions from Penn Station:
Start out walking east one block on W 34th St to the Subway Entrance near the intersection of W 34th St and Broadway.
Take the F train from 34 Street - Herald Sq station heading Uptown / to Jamaica.
Pass 42 Street - Bryant Park. Pass 47-50 Streets - Rockefeller Center.
Get off at 57th Street/6 Avenue. And you’re right in front of the hotel.

2 & 3. LaGuardia Airport and JFK Airport, both Queens, NY. Easiest way to travel is to take the New York Airport Service shuttle bus to New York Penn station. Book in advance online here: http://www.nyairportservice.com/jfk_lga_jfk.html From LaGuardia the one-way fare is $12, $21 round trip. From JFK, one-way is $15, $27 round trip.
